A TOWN radio station has been given a five-year broadcasting licence for 95.9FM, with an official launch date coming later this month.
Andover Radio is broadcasting non-stop music up until the station goes live from 22 April.
Radio personality Steve Randall has been announced as the breakfast show host, and is signed up to host the Christmas lights switch-on later this year.
Steve said: “I am really excited to have joined the station. The opportunity to be part of a station based in the town once again was too good to turn down.”
Other confirmed programmes include a country music programme presented by singer-songwriter Alex Krupa, and a weekly local topical affairs programme hosted by independent financial expert Adam Phillips.
