AN ANDOVER HUSBAND and wife showed team work makes dream work when they completed the virtual London Marathon on Sunday.
Reverend Lee and his wife Emily Davies ran the epic 26mile route around Andover and the Test Valley to raise funds for a cause close to their heart.
The couple were running for the charity JDRF, which funds research into Type 1 diabetes.
Rev Lee, the priest in charge at Knights Enham Parish, said: "We ran for JDRF as our daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes four years ago on Wednesday, October 7.
"So with the marathon being moved to October, it was actually quite special for us as a family."
The parents raised an impressive £1,500 for charity and completed the race in 12hours 34minutes and 34seconds.
