In Division One of the Whitchurch and District Bowls League Andover B lost for the first time this season and slip to fifth place.
Andover A were unlucky in a tight game with Hook and although they only lost by three shots (49-46) they only pick up half a point.
St Mary Bourne Hawks were more fortunate in their close encounter with Kingsclere Quails picking up four points from a 43-42 win with two rinks drawn.
In Division Two St Mary Bourne Eagles move into second place following a 4-1 win at Kingsclere Partridges.
In Division Three all three Whitchurch teams won and Yellows are top following their 3-2 win at Friary. Whitchurch Blacks had an impressive 5-0 win at home to Thornycroft B winning by 62-30.
In Division Four Andover C maintained their unbeaten record with a 60-31 win against Kingsclere Pheasants and are now second. Ray Westbrook, Terry Carr and Chris Sutton recorded the highest individual rink winning margin for the season (35-6).
St Mary Bourne Merlins lost narrowly 46-47 to Old Basing Royalists winning on two rinks but going down heavily on the third.
