In Division 1 of the Whitchurch and District Bowls League Andover picked up a 4-1 (51-45) home win against St Mary Bourne Hawks and move to mid table.
Hawks, however are now bottom of the division following their second defeat.
Whitchurch Blacks hold second place in Division 2 even though they lost 1-4 (41-44) away to Old Basing Cavaliers.
Whitchurch Yellows won their opening game of the season 4-1 (50-45) away to Marnell.
St Mary Bourne Eagles won their second game at home to Hook Hawks 51-40 but only pick up three points,winning on only one rink.
It was John Booth, Billy Weallans and Brian Palmer winning 25-6 that clinched the match and in doing so recorded the highest winning rink margin for the week.
Andover A had a bye and currently occupy bottom place.
Andover C chalked up their first win in Division 4 beating St Mary Bourne Merlins 4-1 (59-46) away which means that Merlins now foot the league table.
