Thruxton 2 CK Redbridge 1.

FOR the third time in four starts Royal Oak sponsored Thruxton struck in the first minute as Sandy Wells sprung the offside trap to fire home.

CK enjoyed the Lion's share of possession but only once threatened when Colin Reid saved. Always dangerous on the break the home side increased their lead when Wells headed home a Matt Duke free-kick. CK's pressure paid off after the break when Lee Cogan scored with five minutes left but Thruxton held on.

Aldridge Vehicles 11 Railway Tavern 0.

Royal Oak sponsored Aldridge Vehicles followed up on last week's performance with another fine display against the Tavern.

Casson Spencer went one better than last week's hat-trick to score four and man of the match Terry Mthimkhulu got his first hat-trick for his new club.

Goals arrived at regular intervals from captain Rob Horne, Dean Hernandez and Neil Payne. The highlight was a right footed volley from player-manager Craig Bain.

Tidworth RBL 1 Barton Stacey 3.

The home team took lead but Barton levelled through Martyn Doolin and Alex Iddles converted from close range to put to take the lead.

Tidworth were denied by keeper James Oliver and Barton tied things up through Luke Tiller. With a win under their belts Barton need to build on this success to pull away from the bottom of the table.

Chestnut Tree 1 Southampton Arms 2.

THIS was a game which neither side could lose.

Arms were the more physical team and their hard work was rewarded when the outstanding Mark Bowsher got the breakthrough with a bullet header. O'Shea tapped in again after good work from man of the match Bowsher before Chestnut got the goal they deserved late on through James Elliott.

Aldridge Veh Res 0 FC Chute 1.

Having failed to create any clear cut chances last week, this was a different story but goal keeper Ian Eve kept Chute in the game with some fine early saves.

The only goal arrived on 30 minutes as James Adams scored his second in two games. Aldridge kept themselves in the game but a hard working Chute finished with a well deserved three points. Chute man of the match was edged by Jamie Sherwin.

Twinings/Foresters 0 Abbotts Ann 2.

Eland sponsored Abbotts Ann beat bottom boys Twinings on Sunday, with two goals from Ben Tuffin.

It could have been different if Stuart Taylor in the Abbotts Ann goal hadn't brought off a great one-handed save. After they had doubled the lead tempers started to rise, and Craig Johnson and Poitr Mawjeski were sent off, leaving Abbots with nine men.

HBT RBL 1 Entertainer KAW 5.

ENTERTAINER went top of Division Three with their best display yet.

Cookie Nixon, Rob Burroughs and Gavin Rainsbury made it 3-0 before missed chances and some fine saves kept the score the same until Rainsbury got his second. RBL were rewarded with a consolation but Nixon saved the best until last with an unstoppable strike. Steve Turner was man of the match.

Test Valley Lions 1 Andover Saints 2.

Lions did not get going in a very poor game and conceded a penalty and from that moment struggled.

They had the best of the second half but gave away a soft goal which made it doubly difficult. To their credit they kept going and grabbed a goal from man of the match Adam Bulpitt to create a good finish.
