SNETTERTON for once, was bathed in sunshine for the whole weekend as Dawn Boyd’s B42’s Motorsport Team were out in convoy towards Norfolk.

Qualifying saw Boyd put her car on eighth spot on the grid, thanks to a flying final lap.

Race one saw Boyd made a great start, up with the pack and not letting them get away, she had a rub from one car coming through on the inside of a corner but fought back quickly.

A race long battle then commenced with Marsh who tried every trick he could to get past on each corner but every time Boyd held her ground, without deviation and kept her place, finishing in her best place of 7th.

Race two, later that afternoon, saw Boyd started seventh and initially traded of places in the early laps, including some great side by side cornering with Walsh, as the same battle continued from race one.

Every corner, Boyd fended off Marsh fairly and cleanly, lap after lap. An exciting and fun race saw all smiles in Parc Ferme after an excellent eighth place.

Boyd will displaying the car at the Silverstone Classic show with the BMMC from July 26 to 28.

the race action returns with a trip to Donington Park on August 18.
