ANDOVER New Street beat visiting Bemerton Heath Harlequins 3-2 in their FA Cup replay at Andover New Street to book at trip to Thatcham on August 24.
The home side had midfielder Callum Sweeney in goal as the FA amazingly did not deem a dislocated shoulder as a valid reason to sign an emergency goalkeeper.
He had taken over from the injured George Baxter at half-time in the first game and was ruled out of the replay.
On Tuesday night, the home side were 2-0 after 14 minutes thanks to Ilyas Warshow and Matt Scott.
Harlequins came back before half time through Justin Bennett.
However, New Street hit back and made it 3-1 by the break as Oliver Yates free-kick hit the net.
The second half saw Harlequins pull one back in stoppage time as Bennett netted his second.
This Saturday, New Street are away at Petersfield and on Tuesday travel to Totton and Eling for a Hampshire Senior Cup tie.
