KIMPTON racing sensation Harry Hickton is gearing up for his first racing visit to Thruxton Circuit this weekend.

Racing his MINI is the highly competitive MINI Challenge Trophy, Harry is looking forward to being part of the British Touring Car Championship support package.

In his first senior racing series, Harry has already tasted success with a podium at his last race at Snetterton and is looking to repeat his performance this weekend at the fastest racing circuit in the UK.

He said: “It has been an incredible start to the season. I’ve had highs and lows, but at Snetterton I took the fastest lap, led the race and finished on the podium in my 5th race of the year.

"It’s encouraging start with a new car in a highly competitive championship”.

The 17-year-old is also looking forward to welcoming a new audience with the racing being covered live on ITV as part of the BTCC package.

“I can’t wait to feature on TV this weekend and I’m really looking forward to seeing friends and family for the local community trackside.
