The Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship made its annual visit to the fastest circuit on the championship calendar at the weekend.
Thruxton's 2.35-mile circuit kicked off the second half of this season's championship with the team having enjoyed their summer break.
With glorious weather on both days, the event was well attended on both days.
There were local drivers in action across the action-packed races, starting with the BTCC, which had a Race to Pole event on Saturday, which was run over 12 laps ahead of three 16-lap races on Sunday.

Ricky Collard in the Team Vertu Hyundai I30N did not have the best start to his weekend, recording a DNF in the Saturday race meant he started the first race on Sunday from the back of the grid.
However, as the lights went out, he was passing cars in front of him from the off, recording two 11th-place finishes before coming home 4th in the last race of the day.
Collard is sitting in 5th place in the championship with 144 points.
He is racing on a race-by-race deal, so we will hopefully see him at the next round at Knockhill on August 8/9.
In the Mairon Motorsport Mini Challenge Trophy, there were again three races across the weekend.
Liphook racer Alex Keens in the Graves Motorsport Mini Cooper had a win in race one after the results were amended.

He backed this up with two 4th-place overall finishes, and he is lying second in the title race on 511, only one point behind the championship leader.
In the same event, in the Rookie Class, Liona Theobald was in action in the Were Alliance Racing Academy Mini Cooper.
Her best result of the weekend came in race three, where she finished 12th overall and third in the Rookie Class.
The next championship round will be at Donington Park on the GP Circuit at the end of August.
