THE NHS receives a lot of negative press.
However, I can only comment on personal experience.
My wife recently had a lengthy operation to remove a tumour, which thankfully was benign.
The treatment she received was first class.
In addition, the other day, I had severe chest pains which resulted in paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service calling within minutes of our 999 call.
After their extensive tests, they took me to Winchester Hospital A&E where once again the NHS provided excellent care.
My sincere thanks to paramedics Jo and Lynn and the nursing staff and doctors at Winchester A&E.
