ONCE again, I am writing a thank-you letter for the very kind people who helped and stayed with me on the afternoon of the 3 March.
Whilst waiting for a bus at the bus station I suddenly felt ill and faint, which I did.
Two young men helped me up from the wet ground and me on a bus step and put their jackets over me.
A young lady phoned for an ambulance. A bus inspector came and kept checking on me until the ambulance arrived and another jacket was placed over me.
I also have to thank Jean, a very good friend, who was with me and stayed.
The ambulance arrived, and the two men came and lifted me into the ambulance. Jean came too.
Eventually I was fit enough to be taken home then helped indoors. Jean came in with my bags and made sure I was able to be left.
I just cannot thank people enough. Such kindness.
Glad to say after taking wet clothing off, with a change of clothes plus a cup of tea I felt lots better, but such a fool.
It shows there are caring people about. So, once again, a ‘Big Thank You’.
