ANDOVER Trees United are having our yearly ‘planting fortnight’ starting on November 17 where donated tree whips, brought on by local schoolchildren, are planted.
We have 750 to plant!
Holes are pre-dug but we urgently need help from volunteers if possible to get them in. There will be two sessions per day in the mornings and afternoons running from Monday to Friday for the fortnight.
We urgently need a minimum of four volunteers for each session. Along with our existing volunteers we are recruiting previous as well as new volunteers and any help readers can provide promoting us in this would be very much appreciated.
You can volunteer by emailing on volunteers@andovertrees.org.uk, visiting our website www.andovertrees.org.uk/contact/, phone 07450 320 343 or post to Andover Trees United Volunteer, Terri Forbes, 5 Corinthian Close, Andover, SP10 5PU.
Thank you for reading this and I hope to hear from you soon.
Terri Forbes, Andover Trees United.
