AN ANDOVER pub organised a Pride Day to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

The event was held at The Lardicake Public House, in Adelaide Road.

Landlady Amanda Jane Hepburn said the event was a huge success.

She said: “We've been asked by quite a few of the people who attended that night to hold regular events. So we have agreed to host a rainbow night on the last Saturday of the month - starting from Saturday, August 27 (bank holiday weekend).”

Amanda earlier told the Advertiser that she came about the idea for Pride Day after a customer asked her if the pub would do something for the LGBT community.
