A NEW vegan market is making its way to Andover this autumn.

Presented by InAndover and Aarde Events, the market will take place in Andover High Street on Sunday, October 2.

The market will deliver fresh and exciting vegan products and produce, from an array of vegan street food to cruelty free cosmetics and sustainable fashion brands, along with ethical arts and crafts stalls.

Daisy Botha, founder of Aarde Events and vegan fairs organiser, said: “We can’t wait to bring our vegan market to Andover.

“We have seen huge success with our Newbury and Salisbury markets over the last year and are so excited to be coming to Andover.”

Meanwhile, Shelly Coburn, events co-ordinator for Andover BID, said: “There is a big trend towards more plant based and cruelty free products, and this event is for everyone looking to explore what’s on offer.

“It’s for those who are interested to making some changes in their diet and for vegans looking to shop local.

“We hope that Andover will welcome our vegan fair.”

The event is part of Andover’s Great Big Green Week, a nationwide celebration of action on climate change lasting from September 24 to October 2.

Other activities during the week includes Andover’s climate day of action, where community groups, schools and businesses will come together to educate and encourage residents to pledge actions that could protect the environment and reduce their carbon footprint.
