A SHOPLIFTER from Andover caught stealing in Winchester has been ordered to pay more then £300 compensation within a month, even though he has little money.
Sonny Foreman, 25, was caught stealing alcohol worth £14 from the Co-op in City Road on September 17 and DVDs, valued at £294.77, from HMV in the Brooks Centre between August 31 and September 17, a court was told.
Foreman, of Eastfield Road, admitted the charges when he appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 14.

He was sentenced to a community order for 19 days with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to six days.
Magistrates imposed no order for costs because Foreman is of limited means and priority should be given to paying the compensation of £308.77. The payments must be made by March 13.
It was unclear from the court record how a man of limited means can find £300 in less than a month.
