HAMPSHIRE residents are being encouraged to take part in a 'thunderclap' on social media in a stand against modern slavery.
Simon Hayes, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire, is inviting people from the county to join forces on Twitter and Facebook by taking part in the thunderclap at 11.13am on Sunday, which is Anti Slavery Day.
