Andover RFC, sponsored by the Plumbing and Heating Company, took two Under-8 teams to the Havant A Festival. Both teams played extremely well throughout, with Andover 1 coming runners up in the cup final by virtue of try difference.

Oakwood sponsored Andover RFC have received a setback to their preparations for tomorrow’s Hampshire County Plate match with Fordingbridge, but don’t know whether to laugh or cry. As a result of a fixture pile up, the Plate semi-final now clashes with Hampshire's county game with Surrey and two young Andover stars, Alex Hibdidge and Jack Stott, have received their call up papers for the full county squad.

Andover 62 Southampton 0. Oakwood sponsored Andover were singing in the rain last Saturday after their final league game of the season ended in a 12 try soaking of a brave but outclassed Southampton side. On a pitch more reminiscent of a swimming pool in places, Andover produced some scintilating rugby and only the conditions prevented an even bigger win. In a game well handelled by referee Ian Pennell, Andover's young side showed what a talented group they can be and sent a clear message that if they can find more consistency they will be a real promotion threat next year.

Romsey 24 Andover 10. It looked like the end of the season had come early for Oakwood sponsored Andover last Saturday, as the players basked in the spring sunshine and many completely forgot to play rugby. In a disjointed and strangely lethargic performance Andover just could not build up a head of steam and in the end succumbed to a Romsey side who they beat comfortably earlier in the season.
