POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died on a Hampshire motorway following a collision.
The incident happened on the M3 southbound on Thursday night between junction 4a and Fleet services.
The 52-year-old cyclist from Aldershot suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are now appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the collision or the cyclist prior to the collision.
Police Sergeant Martin Mundy said: “We know that there were several vehicles travelling along that stretch of motorway at this time of night so we are keen to speak to these motorists as they may have information which can assist our investigation.”
