A WINCHESTER art workshop has celebrated 20 years of watercolours, graphic design and jewellery-making with a special tea party.

The six artists at The Colour Factory studios hosted an open afternoon children’s workshop, with tea and homemade cake, to mark the occasion.

Co-founder, Jenny Muncaster, said: “The event was a great tribute to the creative work done over the last 20 years. There was a visual time-line on display cataloguing the growth of The Colour Factory, our various art projects and other artists that have come and gone over the years.

“There was also the unearthing of a time capsule in the garden which contained Colour Factory mementos from 20 years ago to the delight of the assembled guests.”

Her sister, co-founder Rachael Alexander, said: “The Sunday open afternoon with children's workshops and tea and homemade cake event went really well, with the local community attending. We had great feedback from the community about The Colour Factory which made us all feel really happy.”
