A MAN has been arrested after a woman pedestrian died following a hit-and-run crash in Hampshire.

Police are investigating a collision involving a motorbike, a car and a female pedestrian which happened on the A325 in Farnham at 5.25pm on Wednesday.

The 43-year-old pedestrian from Surrey suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead on the way to hospital.

Now officers have arrested a 54-year-old man from Liss on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, driving a vehicle that failed to stop after a road accident, and driving a vehicle involved in a road accident and failing to report that accident.

He has been bailed until May 5.
