THE four teams competing in this season's Championship playoffs have been confirmed after a thrilling final day of the season.
Southampton's fourth-place spot had already been confirmed, but they still had a hand in the automatic promotion race.
Saints beat Leeds 2-1, while Ipswich beat Huddersfield, meaning the Whites end the Championship in third place, six points off automatic promotion.
Adam Armstrong put Southampton ahead before Joel Piroe hit back minutes later.
Will Smallbone then restored the Saints lead in the first half to ensure Russell Martin's side ended the regular season with a morale-boosting win.
West Brom have been confirmed as Southampton's semi-final opponents after their win over Preston.
Alex Mowatt, Kyle Bartley and Daniel Furlong scored three unanswered goals to secure a 3-0 win at the Hawthorns.
