AS WORLD Cup fever starts to spread across Basingstoke and Deane a financial education firm is looking to create a sweepstake with a different.
Fortem Financial Education has joined in the Basingstones craze which has been taking over the borough in a bid to raise money for a local caner charity.
From June 10, the firm will find colourful stones representing all the participating in this year’s competition in Russia.
Children who find the stones and return them to the Forterm office in Worting House will be rewarded £5, and for ever stone returned £25 will be donated to the Ark Cancer Centre Charity.
Once the stones are returned they will once again be hidden for the duration of the World Cup.
