TEENAGER Joey Moxley has launched his own clothing line in Andover after taking a gap year to experience his dream.

Moxy Apparel is the 18-yearold’s creation from his passion for fashion with the most popular product showing a picture of Andover from 1938.

The former Test Valley and Peter Symonds College student said: “I’ve always been interested in starting a clothing line and it’s always been a dream of mine to create a brand which one day could be bigger than the likes of Topman and other leading fashion retailers.

“At first I didn’t think about all of the areas of business I would have to cover but I have since gained huge experiences in marketing, finance, web design and negotiating with businesses and promotion.

“I’ve even had to plan and organise a photo shoot.

“Quality is the big must when it comes to my products.

When a customer orders from Moxy I want them to walk away with a product of the highest standard possible at an affordable price.

“I’m not looking to make money with Moxy, only to have an experience I’ll remember for a long time.”

Joey launched his website – moxyapparel.com – on 31 October and has already had thousands of page hits with Moxy products being sold to people living all over the UK, including Liverpool and Cardiff.

However this is very much the beginning for the teenager who has big plans for 2013.

He added: “I plan to continue with Moxy in the coming year and release a new line of jumpers and T-shirts and even some accessories for those cold days, such as hats and hoodies.”
