Car park cash theft

TWO car park ticket machines have had money stolen from them.

Police are appealing for information following the thefts at Andover College in Charlton Road.

There have been six thefts between 4-12 January which have taken place between 10.30pm and 1.10am, with more than £1,000 worth of damage caused and a small amount of cash stolen.

Pc Mark Wardell, of Andover police station, said: “Have you seen anyone acting suspiciously late at night in the vicinity of the college car park ticket machines?

“A group of people were seen to walk along Charlton Road at around 10.30pm on Friday, January 10 when one of the incidents took place.

I’d like to hear from you if you were in this group as you may have witnessed the offence or seen the offender.”
