Many memories, Iron bridge, on Xcountry route from secondary boys school, London Rd, remember Odeon & Savoy cinemas, I was born in Clanville 1953,
Went to Weyhill Bottom School. You want roundabouts, try Milton Keynes where I live now. I remember the Troggs well. I remember when Andover was far from everywhere.remember the Chantry Way (?) was being built, used to work for FWW store K405/2 High St. Mum worked for Parsons & Heart, anyone remember them? . Reinstate "The Folly" name. Why was it changed?
Was Charlton Leisure Centre built on a landfill site or quarry, I can't remember.
Andover has changed, some for the good, some not so, we all have our own ideals, but I will always love Andover and Clanville and surrounding Villages, they are and always will be my roots.
