A WALLABY seen hopping around Kingsclere this morning saw police officers hot on its tail.
Police received a call at 8.20am this morning (Tuesday 5 August) of a wallaby spotted near Union Lane in the village.
Officers attended and spoke to members of the public who confirmed the sighting.
Contact was made with the RSPCA who have advised that wallabies are established in the wild and they should be left unless they are injured or in distress.
If anyone does have information about an escaped wallaby they should contact the Tadley Safer Neighbourhoods team by calling 101.
