Flight Lieutenant Tim Dunlop, the Bomber Leader of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be talking about the display at the Museum of Army Flying on Thursday, 27 November at 7pm.

There are only two flying Lancaster bombers in the world and last summer’s display season saw them fly together over the skies of Britain for the first time in 50 years.

The lecture will cover the Canadian Lancaster flying over the Atlantic to join the Royal Air Force Lancaster to wow crowds from Bournemouth to Newtownards, Teeside to Eastbourne and the challenges of flying a 70-year-old bomber along the way.

Tickets are £10, and the museum will be providing a buffet supper and wine for those attending for an additional £10 per head.

For tickets visit armyflying.com or contact the Museum on 01264 784421.
