GERMAN giant Aldi has officially lodged plans for its new store in Andover.
The supermarket chain wants to demolish a car showroom, workshop and warehouse building to provide space for a 1,596sqm store and 90-space car park on Weyhill Road.
The Advertiser exclusively revealed earlier this year that Aldi was coming to town.
The new shop is expected to open in spring 2016, creating more than 30 jobs.
