ANDOVER personal trainer Terry Anderson tried to cop off with a gorgeous Coronation Street star in front of millions of TV viewers last night.
The 27-year-old was hypnotised on ITV's new Saturday night primetime show You're Back in the Room, hosted by Philip Schofield.
Under hypnosis, Mr Anderson gave his phone number to Corrie actress Samia Ghadie, who plays unlucky-in-love crimper Maria Connor in the long-running soap, and cheekily accused her of pinching his bum multiple times.
In a later scene, when the hypnosis was over, he was seen jokingly encouraging the beauty to get in touch with him.
In other scenes Mr Anderson was tricked into thinking he needed the toilet, and was seen hopping round the stage while Schofield fired questions at him which were designed to make him even more desperate.
He was also hypnotised into thinking cake bases were red hot, in the first challenge in the episode.
Mr Anderson's prize money totalled just over £2,000. See Friday's Andover Advertiser for an interview with him.
