AN EVENING of horse displays and dancing helped a Little London livery collect thousands of pounds for a “worthwhile cause” at a recent charity fundraiser.

Frenches Farm Livery raised around £4,000 for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance at the event held in one of their indoor arenas last month.

Organised by owners Anna and Charlie White, the evening featured an equine behaviour display from renowned horse trainer, Emma Massingale, live music from The Lawbreakers, raffle and auction.

The fundraiser is the second event that Anna has organised in recent years, raising a total of £16,000 for the Air Ambulance, an emergency service which the livery has benefitted from on several occasions.

Anna said: “We are very strong on the Air Ambulance because they come up here quite regularly to scoop up injured riders. They have landed here many a time.

“Because we are a farm and a livery, there are going to be accidents, we don’t want them to, but these things happen.”

Anna, who organised the evening with the help of her goddaughter Polly Williams and Louisa Thomas, hopes do more fundraising for the air ambulance in the future.
