A VIOLENT young Andover man has been sentenced to more than three months in a young offender institution after pleading guilty to assault and criminal damage.
Kyle James Heald, formally of Martin Way and now of no fixed abode, admitted assaulting two women in Andover during an incident in July when he appeared in Aldershot Magistrates' Court recently.
The 21-year-old also pleaded guilty to criminal damage of a television and picture belonging to one of the women and for going to her address in breach of a restraining order.
Magistrates deemed the offences so serious because of the breach of a court order and because there was violence involved sentencing Heald to a total of 14 weeks in a young offender institution.
He was also ordered to pay £180 criminal courts charges.
