POLICE are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal crash which saw the westbound carriageway of the A303 closed for several hours last month.
The collision took place near Thruxton Down at 3.25pm on Saturday, 5 September.
Officers believe a white Toyota MR2 was stationary at the side of the road at the time when it was hit by a black BMW 530.
A 45-year-old man, Mahir Hagali, from Park Parade, London, was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital but sadly died of his injuries six days later.
Hampshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or the vehicles involved to come forward by contacting 101 quoting Operation Silkwood.
