A GREAT-GRAN has blasted the ‘appalling service’ her and her disabled husband have received from the region’s wheelchair providers for five-and-a-half years.

Following an accident in April 2010 which left Geoff White, 74, wheelchair bound, he and wife Ann say they have struggled with all the providers assigned by the NHS West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

In April 2010 Mr White, then aged 68, tripped and fell while walking his dog, fracturing his cervical vertebrae leaving him paralysed from the neck down.
