A PLAN which will set out the development of over 10,000 houses across Test Valley has been slammed as a “failed policy” by a Liberal Democrat spokesman.

Chairman of the North West Hampshire Liberal Democrat group, Len Gates, has dismissed Test Valley Borough Council’s Revised Local Plan as a “rework of the same failed policies” after it was deemed “legally sound” by government planning inspector Phillip Ware last month.

The plan, which allocates how land will be developed across the borough until 2029, is now due to go before the TVBC’s Cabinet for approval next Wednesday before it is proposed to full council later this month.
