Housing developer plan to deal with travellers on Picket Twenty
A HOUSING developer say they are preparing to take action against a group of travellers who have settled on a field in Andover.
The travellers have settled on a small piece of land off of the A3093, near to the Picket Twenty slip road to the A303.
People have taken to social media to air their concerns over the site's new occupants after they were first spotted on the site last night.
Now the owners of the land, Persimmon Homes, say they are preparing to take action against the settlers.
A spokesman for Persimmon Homes South Coast said: “We are aware of the situation and have instructed our legal representatives to take appropriate action.”
