A GROUP of staff from the Co-Op's Distribution Centre visited a care home to spruce the place up and keep residents company.
On Wednesday, 15 November a group of staff from the Andover Business Park based centre visited Copper Beeches residential home where they split into two teams; one group painting outdoor furniture to give them a fresh lease of life and the other group spent time indoors with the residents.
The group indoors with the residents spent their time chatting with them, painting some of the women's nails, having a sing song and doing some flower arranging.
Linda Burton, from the home, said: "Thank you so much we felt it was a really positive day and good fun. Please thank all the volunteers every one enjoyed the experience and one of our care staff was glowing as she had such lovely compliments. Thank you all so much."
