Four people on one street in Anna Valley have hit jackpot after their postcode scooped the winnings of the People’s Postcode Lottery’s Daily Prize today.
The lucky postcode SP11 7NA saw two of the Bury Hill Close neighbours pick up £1,000 cheques each, while the third and fourth doubled their fortunes to a £2,000 after playing with two tickets.
Offering her congratulations, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “I’m thrilled for our winners in Anna Valley today and hope they have really great time spoiling themselves with the windfall. Sign up to play with your postcode and we could be visiting you next!”
A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery, and has raised £320 million to date for 4,000 causes across Great Britain and beyond.
Andover Trees United is one good cause that received £17,420 last year to design and create a new community woodland.
