A TEAM of primary school children donned their trainers for a “muddy” Race for Life on June 16.
Smannell and Enham Primary School pupils Kaysn Waite, Freya Davies, Rudi Martindale and Ava Burton, and Raefe Mills, who goes to Pilgrims’ Cross Primary School, took on the Pretty Muddy Kids event in Basingstoke.
The Smannell Mucky Pups originally set their target at £350 but have raised £1,238.75 for Cancer Research, thanks to donations from friends, family and school staff.
The team completed the race in less then an hour and all said that they had “so much fun”.
