Ludgershall Town Council is celebrating after finally opening its new offices.
The new office was opened on Saturday, May 27, by Dr Phil Harding, Deputy Lord Lieutenant for Wiltshire.
Dr Harding is a name many will be familiar with, he was involved in the long-running Channel 4 Time Team programme.
During the opening, he spoke of his connection with Ludgershall when he was one of the archaeologists who took part in excavating Ludgershall Castle during the 1960s and 1970s.

The new town council office, based at 10-12 High Street in Ludgershall, will be open between 9.30am and 2.30pm every Monday to Friday. In the office is a new reception area, meeting rooms and community hub, with access to free use of PCs and a printer.
The town council had been due to move into the new office a number of years ago, but flooding from the flats above had put the move on hold while work took place.
Mayor Cllr Owen White said: "We've had a long journey but we're finally here and really excited to officially open the new offices. There are lots of services available and we are looking forward to seeing and serving the local community, back where we belong on the High Street."
