TEST Valley drivers will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm January 18 to 6am June 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work.

• M27, from 8pm October 12 2020 to 6am June 22 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 4 and M3 both directions, junction 14, Llnk road and lane closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme.

• M27, from 8am May 25 to 6am July 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M27 both directions, junction 2 to 5, diversion route for Hampshire County Council.

• A34, from midnight, February 1 to 11.59pm December 31, slight delays (under 10 minutes): abnormal Load - Swansea to Southampton.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A303, from 8pm June 5 to 6am June 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 eastbound, Weyhill, Lane closure on exit slip road for Hampshire County Council.

• A34, from 8pm June 14 to 6am July 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, Lane closures for drainage surveys.

• A36, from 10am to 3pm on June 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Plaitford stop and go signs in place for SSE works.

• A303, from 9pm June 16 to 6am June 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 westbound, Winchester road, exit slip road closure for drainage works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
