A MAN in his 30s has been taken to hospital with a serious head injury following an assault in a car park in Andover.
Police were called to the incident by the ambulance service on Saturday, September 30 at 3.18am after a man had been assaulted in the car park on George Yard.
Officers attended and a 39-year-old man was located with a serious head injury. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Following enquiries, police believed that the victim was involved in an altercation with a group before he was assaulted.

A 20-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, and two 24-year-old men, all from Andover, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

The men arrested remain in custody.
