Fans of the popular comedy series Outnumbered are beginning to wonder if a new special series is on the horizon.

It comes as Ramona Marquez who played the adorable character of Karen Brockman shared a snap with some of the cast on social media.

On Instagram, she posted a picture with fellow Brockman family members Tyger Drew-Honey (Jake) and Daniel Roche (Ben).

The trio appeared to be reunited on a film set, which has sparked rumours about Outnumbered returning to our TV screens once more.

Outnumbered fans ask 'are you filming something?'

Ramona captioned the post: “Family slay,” with a house emoji.

One person commented: “need a one off episode of you all now as grown ups,” along with a crying face emoji.

Another added: “The bands back together.”

“Erm are you filming something???” enquired this fan.

This account wrote: “What fab pics! Hope this means there is some reunion in the works?! Xxx”

Outnumbered needs to come back!!” exclaimed someone.

Also agreeing, this follower said: “BRING IT BACK BRING IT BACK.”

Tyger also took to Instagram with a photo of the three of them and wrote: “Great to be back with the fam for #comicrelief - if you don’t already know, these guys are legends. Apologies for a lack of activity on here. I’ll sort it out.”

Since the BBC show, Tyger has starred in Death in Paradise, Doctors, and Cuckoo.

The 27-year-old also took part in Celebrity MasterChef in 2017 but it was TV presenter Angellica Bell who was crowned the winner.

Outnumbered ran from 2007 until 2014 on BBC One and also featured Claire Skinner (Sue) and Hugh Dennis (Pete) as the Brockman parents.

The on-screen family last filmed together during a Christmas special back in 2016.

The show followed the family living in London as they navigated through the everyday chaos of life, with Sue and Pete often “outnumbered” by their children.
