A MAJOR road between Amesbury and Andover was closed for a brief period on Saturday morning, December 16, after a car left the carriageway.
The incident occurred at approximately 6.30am near Thruxton. Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a vehicle that had veered off the A303. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
According to officers, the specific details regarding the car involved remain unconfirmed at this time. The road was reopened shortly after the incident was cleared.
