A MAN in his 70s has suffered serious injuries to his hand and arm in a two-vehicle crash on the A303 near Andover.

The crash happened between the Winchester Road and Salisbury Road junction at around 8.10pm on Tuesday, January 23.

It involved a grey Land Rover Discovery and a blue Suzuki Swift.

The driver of the Suzuki, a man in his 70s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Officers, who have launched an investigation, are now appealing for witnesses and information about the crash.

They would like to appeal for any witnesses who may have seen the incident, or the moments leading up to it.
