ANDOVER'S Reel Cinema rolled out the red carpet again when it was chosen as one of only 100 venues to stage a premier of the new Batman film two days ahead of the general release.
A champagne reception for invited guests and exclusive ticket holders saw the evening off to an elegant and celebratory start before the main event, the screening of The Dark Knight, with the audience receiving special Batman hologram posters.
Reel proprietor K C Suri was delighted that his new cinema in Andover was one of the chosen few. "It is a great honour for Reel Cinema and for Andover and shows how highly we are thought of," he said.
To round the evening off guests were treated to after-show pizzas and a champagne night-cap.
