DRIVERS in and around Andover will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A303, from 8pm February 19 to 6am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Parkhouse to Thruxton Circuit, lane closures for structures work.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A303, from 8pm March 11 to 6am April 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 both directions Hundred Acre to Bullington, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.

• A34, from 8pm March 11 to 6am March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington, lane closures for barrier repairs.

• A303, from 8pm March 12 to 6am March 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Micheldever, slip road, services and lane closures for inspection work.

• A303, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Thruxton to Parkhouse Corner, lane and exit slip road closure for Hampshire County Council Council works, diversion via National Highways and local Authority network.

• A34, from 8pm March 25 to 6am March 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Bullington, slip road and lane closures for electrical work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
