A DRINK driver from Andover has been banned from driving for more than three years.
On Tuesday, August 22, Lee Bishop, of Harebell Road, was stopped while behind the wheel of a Ford Focus near his home.
Officers found that he had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.
During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Thursday, March 7 he was sentenced for the offence. He pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving at an earlier hearing.

The 33-year-old was disqualified from driving for 42 months.
He must also comply with rehabilitation activity including 80 hours of unpaid work.
Court costs of £40 and a surcharge fee of £114 must be paid.
