A BUSY road in Andover will be closed for two nights this weekend to allow for maintenance work to be carried out.
River Way, from Walworth Road to the entrance for Tesco, will be closed from 8pm to 6am on Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14.
Hampshire Highways is carrying out 'asphalt preservation treatment' to help the road surface last longer.

A post on Hampshire County Council's website said there will be a "thin veneer applied to the road surface to help preserve and make the surface last longer".
It added that this is a "fast and cost-effective treatment"
Whilst works are in progress vehicular access will not be possible.
The council has added: "Should you need to make an essential journey, please contact a member of the workforce on site in advance and they will be able to advise if they can accommodate your request."
