DRIVERS in and around Andover will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to continue this week:

• A303, from 8pm February 19 to 6am May 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Parkhouse to Picket Twenty, carriageway and lane closures for structures work.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am July 6, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions M3, junction 9 to Three Maids Hill, carriageway closures for resurfacing work.

• A303, from 8pm April 8 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Bullington to M3, junction 9 and A303 both directions Bullington to Micheldever, mobile lane closures for litter clearance.

• A303, from 8pm April 12 to 6am April 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A27 eastbound, Barton Stacey, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.

• A303, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Parkhouse, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs.

• A303, from 8pm April 19 to 6am April 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Micheldever, slip road and lane closures for inspection work.
