AN ANNUAL auction, hosted by the team behind Andover Trees United, will take place again this year to help raise funds to pay for nature activities in the Harmony and Diamond woods.

This funding allows the organisation to continue its work in preserving and protecting woodlands, as well as educating the public on the importance of conservation.

The event will offer a variety of promises for auction, including unique experiences, services and items generously donated by businesses and individuals.

By participating in the auction of promises event, people will not only have the opportunity to bid on prizes but also support the mission of connecting children with nature and fostering a love for the environment.

All funds raised from this event will go directly towards funding staff who work tirelessly to organise and lead engaging nature activities for children in the Diamond Wood. These activities help children develop a deeper appreciation for the natural world around them and inspire them to become stewards of the environment.

The auction will take place at the Wherwell Village Hall, in Church Street, on Friday, May 24 from 6.45pm.

If you would like to attend the event or are able to donate a promise into the Auction, email liz.scrace@andovertrees.org.uk.

Tickets for the event are £30 per person (under 16s are £7.50 per person).

To leave an ‘absentee’ bid, if you can't make it on the night, ask a friend who is attending to bid on your behalf or leave a bid with the team by emailing liz.scrace@andovertrees.org.uk.

A list of ‘promises’ will be available at the start of May. For more information, visit andovertrees.org.uk/newsletter.
